Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Palmer-Hunter Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on the Palmer-Hunter website and PML Platform.
Palmer-Hunter currently uses cookies that are necessary for authentication, session management and security. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural analytics cookies on the Palmer-Hunter website.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files or data values stored by your browser when you visit or use a website. They can be used to maintain a secure authenticated session, remember security-related choices and support core website or application functionality.
2. Cookies we use
Palmer-Hunter uses strictly necessary cookies and related security tokens to operate the website and PML Platform securely. These may include:
- Session cookies used to identify an authenticated Palmer-Hunter Platform session.
- Security cookies used as part of login, authentication and two-factor authentication processes.
- Trusted-device cookies where a user chooses or is permitted to register a trusted device for security purposes.
3. Why these cookies are necessary
These cookies are required to provide secure access to protected areas of the PML Platform, maintain signed-in sessions, support authentication controls and protect user accounts and Palmer-Hunter systems against unauthorised access.
4. Analytics and advertising cookies
Palmer-Hunter does not currently use third-party advertising cookies or third-party behavioural analytics cookies such as those commonly associated with advertising networks or website-tracking services.
References to analytics within the PML Platform relate to Palmer-Hunter application functionality, environmental data analysis and operational intelligence rather than third-party website behavioural tracking.
5. Cookie duration
Some authentication cookies expire when the relevant session ends or when their configured security period expires. Trusted-device cookies may remain for a longer defined period where that functionality is enabled. Cookies may also be removed when a user signs out, a session is terminated or security credentials are revoked.
6. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in to or using protected areas of the PML Platform correctly.
7. Changes to this policy
Palmer-Hunter may update this Cookie Policy if the website, PML Platform or technologies we use change. If optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies are introduced in future, this policy and any applicable consent controls will be updated accordingly.
8. Contact
If you have questions about this Cookie Policy, please contact Palmer-Hunter Ltd at support@palmer-hunter.co.uk.
